Anne-Marie Rocher - Michel Pagliaro
Independent filmmaker Anne-Marie Rocher has worked on series for educational television, and produced and directed three documentaries that have garnered numerous international awards: Gugging (1996), about a group of Austrian artists who have lived most of their lives in a psychiatric hospital (best video, Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois); André Markowicz: A Translator's Voice (1999), about the Russian translator's project to translate Dostoevsky's work into French (jury award, International Festival of Films on Art); and Guy Rocher: Sociologist as Protagonist (2002), about the world-renowned academic, researcher and writer (bronze plaque, Columbus Festival, USA).
